New Alternatives for Children, Inc. (NAC) is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors and subscribers and strictly adheres to the following privacy policy.

Anonymous, non-personally identifiable information, such as your IP address, domain server, type of computer, type of web browser, and address of referring sites (also known as “traffic data”) may be collected and used to diagnose problems with our server and to administer our site. We may also use some non-personal information to compile statistics about how people use our site. We may use this data to analyze trends and improve our web site. We do not share this information with third parties, unless it is on an aggregate basis.

Our security system prevents unauthorized access to confidential information whether you are online or off-line. We use state-of-the-art software to secure your personal information automatically while they are in transit over the internet, preventing a third party from viewing this information.

We use the best available security technology to protect our donors and/or site visitors. Information access is restricted within our offices as well. It is viewable only by employees, representatives and/or agents ofNew Alternatives For Children, Inc., who need the information to perform a specific job and is password protected.

NAC only collects information from individuals or other entities when donations are made to the agency. Online donors must provide at least their name and address. Requested information also includes phone number and email address. This information along with credit card information for donations is collected and processed for NAC by Local Independent Charities, www.LIC.org. Their web site is secured by VeriSign. Please refer to the LIC web site for further information.

A history of donations made to New Alternatives for Children, Inc. will be established and kept when the first contribution is made, online or otherwise. Information collected about NAC donors is never shared with any other entity.
