Meet the Junior Board
Ashley Davis
President
Ashley Davis is the Educational Director of the Park Slope Schoolhouse, a non-profit early childhood program, and she is an Adjunct Professor at Queens College Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Ashley holds a BS in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University, a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education from New York University, and a Masters in Administration/Supervision from Hunter College. Her passion for working with children and families began as a young adult when she coached the Special Olympics Swim Team and took them to the World Games.
Fun Fact: Ashley has an adorable Cavapoo puppy who was featured in a recent Vogue Magazine issue that was dedicated to animals.
Gabby Giovanniello
Vice President
Gabby Giovanniello is the Head of Planning at Birchbox where she leads the omni-channel inventory management strategy. Gabby holds a BA in English from Bucknell University, and has been involved with NAC since 2019 as a member of the Junior Board. Gabby first became involved with the organization as part of the Birchbox Volunteer and Service group, after participating in the NAC Book Fair and NAC Olympics. She also serves as a Sophomore Writing & Critical Thinking Instructor for the New York City chapter of Minds Matter.
FUN FACT: Gabby spent 4 months living with a Swiss family outside Geneva for study abroad while in her junior year of college, where she honed her French and developed a taste for Raclette!
Bailey Wise
Vice President
Bailey Pearce is a Process Engineer in the Luxury division of L’Oreal, managing capital projects for new product integrations. Bailey holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering with a minor in German from the University of Michigan, and recently acquired her Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma. Bailey has been involved with NAC since July 2019 as a Junior Board Member, and learned about NAC through the Night for NAC event
Fun Fact: Bailey loves to sail, and can often be found on Sunday afternoons in the summer cruising New York Harbor with friends.
Noelle Stamos

Allison Buck
Allison Buck is an Associate at JLL where she serves as a commercial real estate advisor to all types of companies, ranging from nonprofits to financial services, in their search for office space in New York City. Allison holds a BBA in Finance and International Business from the George Washington University. Allison first became involved with NAC when she heard about the organization through her team at JLL, who worked with NAC to find and secure their office space in New York. After attending the annual gala, she was inspired to get involved. In 2019, Allison has been involved with NAC since 2019 as a member of the Junior Board..
FUN FACT: Allison studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 6 months in college. She has a passion for travel and exploring new cultures and has had the opportunity to travel to more than 30 countries.
Hanna Cannell
Hanna is a Senior Account Director at McCann New York. Hanna moved to New York City after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Advertising. Hanna first became involved with NAC when she started working at Grey Group in 2017. From stuffing backpacks for a Back-to-School event, to becoming the liaison for organizing all Grey volunteer groups for annual NAC events, Hanna has developed an unwavering passion and commitment to helping NAC. Hanna is refreshing Grey’s community service group “Grey Gives Back” and NAC will be an integral organization for employees to volunteer, provide pro bono marketing services, and more.
Fun fact: Besides being able to eat an entire large pizza in record-breaking time, a fun fact about Hanna is that she enjoys being a “pet photographer” on the side to help animals in foster homes get high-quality photos to help with their adoption.
Nicholas Deering
Nick Deering is an Analyst on the Prime Brokerage Sales team at Wells Fargo Securities where he focuses on the greater Northeastern region. Nick holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He became involved with NAC in 2017 when he had the opportunity to dress as Santa Clause and give out presents to NAC children.
Fun Fact: In 2017, Nick traveled to Pamplona, Spain where he participated in the Running of the Bulls tradition during the Festival of San Fermin.
Alex Feltman
Alex is a Senior in the audit & assurance practice at Mazars, engaged primarily with real estate entities and non-profit organizations. Alex holds a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University. He is also a registered CPA in New York. Alex has been involved with NAC since the fall of 2018 when NAC was a client of Mazars’. Alex has long been passionate about helping children, a value instilled by his mother, who is an SEIT, and his brother, a vice-principal who has worked for the NYC DoE for nearly 20 years.
Fun Fact: Alex is a native New Yorker, born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. His desire to give back to the broader New York City community is one of the things which most attracted him to NAC.
Kristen Focella
Kristen Focella is Director of Credit Compensation at Apollo. Prior to joining Apollo in July of 2020, she spent almost 10 years at Morgan Stanley in various roles including in Corporate Treasury – Liquidity Management and Capital Planning, Corporate Compensation, Client Financing Strategy, and Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets Rewards and Analytics. She holds a BS in Finance and Operations & Information Management from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Kristen has been a member of the NAC Junior Board for a couple of years and was a co-chair of the fundraising committee. She has volunteered through the Morgan Stanley/JKO High School mentoring program, New York Cares, Covenant House, SIFMA, and for her alma mater through the Alumni Admissions Program and Hoya Gateway.
Fun Fact: Kristen loves being active and has run 3 marathons: New York City in 2015, Marine Corps in 2018, and Boston in 2019. She ran the Boston Marathon, her favorite marathon, for the Michael Lisnow Respite Center.
Tim Freydberg
Tim Freydberg is a Vice President in CBRE’s midtown office, where he focuses on tenant and landlord representation in Manhattan. Prior to joining CBRE, Tim was a Director at the Vortex Group and a Vice President at NSNYRE. Tim, his wife Jaclyn, and their 7 lb Pomeranian live in New York City and enjoy going to the beach, traveling, and helping NAC kids as much as they can.
Fun Fact: Tim enjoys exploring the diverse culinary landscape of New York City, and will try anything…except salmon!
Rebecca Gevertz
Rebecca Gevertz is a Fund Manager for the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Rebecca previously worked as a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain for the Greater New York Hospital Association. Rebecca holds a BA in Biology and Public Health from Brown University. She has been involved with NAC since 2000, joined the NAC Young Professionals in 2015, and now serves on the Junior Board.
Fun Fact:Â Rebecca is an avid Boston Red Sox fan, despite both growing up and continuing to live in New York.
Nicole Glon
Nicole Glon is a Partnership Manager at Pointr.Tech, a location tech company. Nicole holds a BA in Public Relations from Pennsylvania State University. Nicole has been involved with NAC since January 2021 when she joined the Junior Board. She first became involved with NAC by going to the Spring Gala. Prior to NAC, Nicole worked at the National Kidney Foundation when she first moved to NYC in 2015 where she started getting involved in philanthropy. Most recently she helped kick start the Rockerteer Committee at her current company where she leads in planning philanthropic activities throughout the year for her company.
FUN FACT: Nicole was the Captain of the Penn State Fencing team in 2014 when they won the National Championship!
Emily Gutman
Emily Gutman is a Social Impact MBA candidate at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Prior to attending graduate school, Emily worked in the Risk Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers with a focus in Entertainment, Media and Communications. Emily holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Vermont. Emily joined NAC in 2017 and is excited to continue her involvement.
Fun Fact: Emily has been skiing since she was three years old, and was a ski instructor at Sugarbush Resort in Vermont.
Alexis Hart
Alexis Hart is Director of Digital Content at Borghese and founder of RandomActsofLipstick.com, where she curates content about beauty brands and influencers who give back. Alexis holds a BA in Sociology from Bucknell University. She has been involved with NAC since 2009, and is a founding member and former fundraising chair for the NAC Young Professionals. Alexis is also a volunteer at the Coalition for the Homeless and fosters pups through Social Tees Animal Rescue.
Fun Fact: Alexis rarely leaves her apartment without the perfect red lipstick and SPF 30+.
Andrew Hosbein
Andrew Hosbein is an MBA Candidate with a focus in Health Care Management at The Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania. After Wharton, Andrew will be working as a Vice President at Court Square Capital Partners. Prior to Wharton, he spent two years working in private equity in New York before moving to Dallas for a year, where he worked at an ophthalmology services company. Andrew holds a BBA in Finance, with a minor in Chinese language and culture, from the University of Notre Dame. He has been involved with NAC since April 2019 and is also a member of the Special Olympics New York Leadership Council.
FUN FACT: Andrew speaks Mandarin and French, has played piano since 3rd grade and is looking forward to returning to New York after earning his MBA.
Timothy Kahrs
Timothy Kahrs is a Manager of Risk Advisory Services at Dixon Hughes Goodman and has more than 11 years of experience in the financial services industry. Timothy specializes in business development, front-to-back office transformation, technology optimization, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. He holds a BS in Financial Economics from Binghamton University, and has volunteered with New York Cares and the Movember Foundation.
Fun Fact: While in college, Tim was a member of the Harpur’s Ferry Ambulance Corp., serving as an EMT-Basic for three years.
Joseph Lane
Joseph Lane is an Account Manager at ESPN. He works in linear advertising dealing with household brand names across multiple industries. Joseph holds a BS in Strategic Communications & Marketing from Miami University. Joseph has been involved with NAC since February of 2021 and got involved through the NAC Junior Board Treasurer, Frannie Ross!
FUN FACT: Joseph’s most exhilarating experience was skydiving the Swiss Alps.
Amanda Manthey
Amanda holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from Lehigh University. She joined the NAC Junior Board in 2018 and currently serves as the head of the Volunteering Committee.
Fun Fact: Amanda owns her own photography business, specializing in maternity, children, and posed newborn images.
Leanna Nazzisi
Leanna Nazzisi is the Manager of Customer Operations and Communications at Birchbox. She helps facilitate the relationship between customers and Birchbox’s cross-teams, and all engagements are delivered with the best-in-class service, friendliness and professionalism. Leanna attended college at St. John’s University and City University of New York at Queens College, studying in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. Leanna first became involved with NAC through organizing the Birchbox team to donate and volunteer during the NAC Book Fair and NAC Olympics.
FUN FACT: Leanna loves musical theatre and has won 4 Broadway musical ticket lotteries in less than one year!
James Rao
Ryan Sidawi
Ryan Sidawi is an Associate in JP Morgan’s Capital Strategy Group, where he supports the Corporate and Investment Bank in driving strategic initiatives related to regulatory mandates, primarily in capital and liquidity. Ryan holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Florida. He joined the NAC Junior Board in 2020, and also serves on the Junior Board of BoardAssist and volunteers with New York Cares.
FUN FACT: Ryan is an avid traveler and has been to over 60 countries. Throughout his childhood and during service in the U.S Air Force, he lived in Puerto Rico, Sicily, Hawaii, Germany and Iraq.
Taryn Siglain
Taryn Siglain is the Global Head of Principal Securities Lending at State Street. Previously, Taryn held a variety of roles during her 15-year tenure at Morgan Stanley including Head of Americas Secured Funding and Collateral Trading, Vice President Investor Relations, Global Head Client Financing Strategy, and Vice President Corporate Treasury. During her time at Morgan Stanley, Taryn co-founded an employee diversity and inclusion committee to promote open dialogue and education on D&I topics. She is a founding member and the former President of the NAC Junior Board. Taryn holds a BS in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University.
Fun Fact: Taryn lived in Budapest, Hungary for 6 months on a work assignment. During her time in Europe, she was able to travel to more than 20 countries!
Arvind Singh
Arvind Singh is an Associate Director, Risk and Controls Group, US Enterprise Risk, Group Risk Management, USA, for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). He has held positions at DHG, HomeServe, AIG, and Alliance Bernstein. He holds an MBA in Finance and Management from Fordham and an MS in Economic Development Via Sustainable Tourism from Boston University. He has been involved with NAC since 2009 as a volunteer and was a member of the NAC Young Professionals.
Fun Fact: Arvind is a huge Yankees fan and has been lucky enough to attend several memorable playoff games since 1996.
Tanner Stanley
Tanner Stanley is an Associate in the Securities Litigation group at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where his practice focuses on securities fraud class actions, shareholder derivative suits, litigation arising from mergers and acquisitions, and SEC or other regulatory investigations. Tanner holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA in Political Science from McGill University. Tanner joined NAC as a member of the Junior Board in October 2020.
FUN FACT: Tanner has a background working in public relations and marketing, focusing on luxury lifestyle brands.
Sophia Templin
Sophia Templin is a Director at Finsbury Glover Hering, where she provides strategic counsel, public relations and investor relations support to companies involved in high-profile special situations, transactions and corporate crises. Sophia holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
Sophia first became involved with NAC through her work with the New York Junior League in 2018. She joined the NAC Junior Board in September 2021.
FUN FACT: Sophia pitched all four years for the KU softball team. She continues to coach and give pitching lessons around the NYC metro area.
