What is Family Mental Health at NAC?
As a New York State Licensed Article 31 Mental Health Clinic, NAC offers a full array of outpatient mental health evaluation and treatment for children and adults. Our team of experienced Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitoners, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Art Therapists, and Music Therapists have special expertise in providing trauma-informed and culturally-responsive treatment for families and children who are child welfare involved and who have chronic illness, developmental disabilities, and or other special needs. Our strength-based and family centered treatment approach is a valuable key to healing and growth.

Who is eligible for treatment in the Family Mental Health Clinic?
Mental health evaluation and treatment is available for adults, children, and families. We accept self referrals as well as referrals from other child welfare agencies, health facilities, and community providers.
