New Alternatives for Children, Inc. (NAC) is an award-winning health care and social service agency in Midtown Manhattan, which serves children living with medical complexity, disabilities or serious emotional or psychiatric disturbance and their families. NAC operates an Article 28 Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Article 29i Voluntary Foster Care Agency Clinic, and an Article 31 Mental Health Clinic, (collectively known as “the Clinic”) where care is delivered in collaboration with NAC’s outstanding teams of social workers, behavior specialists, education specialists, mental health professionals, physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff. The clinics are located at NAC’s main office on 825 7th Avenue in Manhattan.
This LPN position would support NAC’s pediatric medical clinic as well as the pediatric and adult mental health clinic. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both children with medical complexity and adults seeking medication management of psychiatric conditions.
