New Alternatives for Children, Inc. (NAC) is an award-winning not-for-profit agency in Midtown Manhattan, with a satellite Bronx office dedicated to serving children with special healthcare needs and their families. To assist in achieving this mission, NAC is currently seeking a Foster Family Service Social Worker to join its Homefinding Department.
The NAC Specialized Family Foster Care serves children with medical, developmental, mental health and behavioral health needs. The foster care department is responsible to ensure safety, permanency and well-being for young people ages 0-21 placed by ACS into our foster homes. We also recruit, train, and certify our foster homes and match and place children in these homes. The Homefinding Supervisor will assist the homefinding social workers develop their clinical writing and assessment skills.
