New Alternatives for Children, Inc. (NAC) is an award-winning not-for-profit agency in Midtown Manhattan dedicated to serving children and families with medical complexities, disabilities, chronic illnesses and behavioral challenges. To assist us in achieving this mission, NAC is currently seeking a Permanency Facilitator. The right candidate must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational, communication and computer/database literacy skills.
As an integral part of the permanency team, the Permanency Facilitator reports to the Director of Specialized Foster Care and acts as a liaison between various ACS units, KinGAP and adoption attorneys and NYC ACS and NYS OCFS monitors. The Permanency Facilitator also assists home-finding staff in conducting clearances and in several areas of their operations. Below details the key tasks of this role.
