When COVID-19 shut down everything in NYC, including the family courts, Malachi, along with hundreds of other children were waiting to be adopted. Luckily, with NAC’s help, Malachi was able to be adopted virtually, finding his forever family with Dads’ Rob & Steve. We wish them a lifetime of happiness together! Thank you to our partners in Massachusetts for helping to finalize this incredible adoption!

Over the course of the pandemic, NAC has found homes for more than 40 children who newly entered foster care. Our foster care and adoption team ensures that children have safe, loving, and nurturing homes, during the pandemic and beyond.
