NAC was incredibly honored to be selected from hundreds of non-profits to receive the Mutual of America Community Partnership on February 28, 2019 for excellence in our Education Program. The award was accompanied by a $25,000 gift to NAC! NAC staff, board members, volunteers, partners, and clients attended a special luncheon hosted by Mutual of America. Executive Director Arlene Goldsmith accepted the award on behalf of NAC, while NAC staff and clients spoke to the testimony of the outstanding work and efforts of NAC’s Education Program.

Each year, the Mutual of America Community Partnership Award recognizes outstanding nonprofit organizations in the United States that have shown exemplary leadership by facilitating partnerships with public, private, or social sector leaders who are working together as equal partners, not as donors and recipients, to build a cohesive community that serves as a model for collaborating with others for the greater good.
