NAC’s 11th Annual Women for Women Luncheon
Women for Women
On May 7, 2024, we held our 11th Annual Women for Women Luncheon at The University Club of New York. We’re grateful for the significant turnout at this event.
While we regret that Misty Copeland couldn’t attend the event, we’re pleased to report its success. We are looking forward to arranging a virtual event with Misty soon.
We thank Misty’s Manager Gilda Squire and Caryn Campbell, Executive Director of the Misty Copeland Foundation for giving an inspiring and spirited talk. They discussed Misty’s remarkable journey, highlighting the challenges she faced and the triumphs she achieved on her path to becoming the first black principal dancer at the American Ballet. Misty’s success has inspired and motivated her to give back to the community. It truly was a great day, and a successful one as well, where close to $60,000 was raised for the children and families we serve.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event; Your support enables NAC to continue providing comprehensive medical and mental health services for New York City’s most vulnerable children.
