NAC’s 40th Anniversary Gala Raises Over 2.2 Million Dollars!

(Scroll down to see more photos from the event)

We were so excited to celebrate our 40th Anniversary NAC Kids Can Gala at Pier Sixty on October 19, 2022. We were pleased to welcome this year’s outstanding honoree, Aryeh Bourkoff of LionTree, and our Dinner Co-Chairs Roger Lynch, Rob Marcus, and Wendi Murdoch. Together, they combined to help us raise over 2.1 million dollars!

Our emcee for the evening, Kate Snow, weekday anchor for MSNBC Live, as well as an Emmy-winning National Correspondent for NBC News and anchor of NBC Nightly News, Sunday editions kept the audience entertained while making everyone feel welcome, relaxed, and connected. We can’t forget to thank our very special guest, Jewel, for her incredible performance.

Guests had the chance to bid on some amazing auction prizes, including fantastic trips, jewelry from Tiffany’s, an autographed rookie baseball from newly crowned home run champ Aaron Judge and more! The evening concluded with a spirited paddle raise led by Auctioneer Lydia Fenet. This fund-a-need portion of the program resulted in over $200,000 raised to support NAC’s children and families.

Overall, the night was a great success and made an immediate impact and a difference in the lives of children with severe disabilities and chronic illnesses across New York City.
