Nursing at NAC
NAC's Nursing Program
In their work with families involved in NAC Prevention and Foster Care programs, NAC nurses play central supportive roles in care coordination, health monitoring, navigating complex healthcare systems and other forms of advocacy. Combining interpersonal relationship building, critical thinking, and clinical knowledge and skills, NAC nurses work in the clinic and conduct home visits to partner with families in support of the health and wellbeing of their children. From supporting families as they first establish medical care to following up in their homes, NAC nurses view children, youth, and their families across all settings that impact their lives.
